Cricklewood/Brent Cross Controlled Parking Zoning Objection
What is happening?
Barnet Council’s new experimental parking rules (CPZ) are creating an unintended barrier to our school and green space. By imposing all-day, 7-day-a-week charges, the Council is making our public green space difficult to reach for families, the elderly, and those with disabilities who live further than walking distance.
THE FAIR SOLUTION: A 1-hour "Commuter Trap" (Mon–Fri only).
This is the perfect middle ground. It stops station-bound commuters from parking all day, but keeps the fields and farm open and inclusive for residents, volunteers, and visitors for the remaining 23 hours of the day.

- Culture & Heritage: Barnet is bidding for Borough of Culture. We need to ensure our unique heritage assets remain reachable for all residents, not just those nearby.
